What began as a whirlwind summer romance blossomed into something much more for Tia and Nathan.
A few years after becoming a couple, Nathan popped the question on top of the Melbourne Star Observation Wheel. “I’ll never forget that moment – we both cried of happiness. Besides our wedding day, that was the happiest day of my life,” says Tia, 21.
“My biggest dream from when I was a little girl was to get married so I was so excited to start planning. It took a lot of hard work but we got the dream wedding we wanted. I absolutely love the elegant classic wedding style and that’s how I designed it.”
Tia and Nathan, 22, had their wedding dreams come true on a sunny February 8 day in 2019. The day began with a traditional ceremony at Pokrov, a Russian Orthodox Church in Melbourne, and ended with a lavish reception at Brighton Savoy.
“It was a dream come true and it was the best day of my life – just thinking about it makes me teary. I am so lucky to have such an incredible husband and to have such a great memory of our wedding day that we can share together and look back on.”
